No. Setup is free and do-it-yourself — every step is documented inside the app, and you can complete it without talking to anyone. If you would rather we did it for you, our team will handle the entire setup for a one-time fee of ₹2,499 + GST. That is optional, charged once, and is not a subscription.

Two separate things get billed. The software (WaZappy) — free to start, then a monthly plan as you scale. And the conversations — Meta charges those directly to your own Meta Business account at their published India rates, which differ by category (marketing, utility, authentication; service conversations started by the customer are free). WaZappy adds no markup on messages and does not resell message credits, so what Meta charges is exactly what you pay.

You can start and run on the free plan with no monthly software fee. Meta’s per-conversation charges still apply, because those are billed by Meta, not by us — nobody can waive them. Be cautious of any provider claiming messages are free: they are either bundling the cost into a higher plan or are not on the official API.

There are none on our side, and we would rather say so plainly: no setup fee, no markup on Meta’s message rates, and nothing that only appears on the invoice. Extra agents and extra numbers are priced add-ons, listed openly on the pricing page. The only two things you pay are your WaZappy plan and Meta’s conversation charges — and the optional ₹2,499 + GST if you ask us to set it up for you.

Sign up, complete your KYC once, add a WhatsApp number, submit your business documents so Meta can verify you, and add a payment method to your Meta Business account. Your number then activates and you can send and receive straight away. Most businesses are live the same day.

You can use any number that is not currently active on the WhatsApp or WhatsApp Business app, or migrate your existing one across. Migration keeps your number and your business identity — we walk you through it. Note that once a number is on the API, it can no longer be used in the regular WhatsApp app.

Number activation is usually same-day once your Meta Business account and documents are in order. The green tick (verified badge) is a separate Meta review and takes anywhere from a few days to a couple of weeks — that timeline is Meta’s, not ours, and no provider can shorten it.

Yes, and that is a good thing. Your WhatsApp Business Account and your number live under your own Meta Business Manager, so you own the asset. If you ever leave, you take your number, your templates and your quality rating with you.

Yes. The AI features (AI auto-reply over your knowledge base, classify, extract, image reading) run on an AI provider of your choice, and you configure that yourself with your own API key. This is deliberate: your key means your data goes to your account, you see exactly what the AI costs you, and you are never locked into our margin on top of it. Step-by-step instructions for every supported provider are inside the app — and if you would rather not do it yourself, our team will help you integrate it at no extra charge.

The AI provider key, and any third-party integration you want to use — Google Sheets, your CRM, your calendar, payment gateway. Each one has written instructions in the app and takes a few minutes. Nothing is hidden behind a sales call. If you get stuck on any of it, ask our team and we will set it up with you.

Yes. Upload your catalogs, price lists, policies, FAQs and documents, and the AI retrieves answers from your material rather than making things up. It replies in Hindi or English, and hands off to a human agent the moment a customer asks for one or the AI is not confident.
